Miu x Chika

Strawberry Marshmallow (苺ましまろ, Ichigo Mashimaro) is a Japanese manga series by manga creator Barasui

This project features Chika Ito and Miu Matsuoka on a strawberry base.


This is my first time to create two figures at same time. It is more difficult then I think.
First, their arms hold together, which made the error tolerance become very significant.
It is also a difficulty for them to sit tight on the semi-sphere strawberry base.
Their jacket and skirt also a problem. Maybe there is a reason for few GK ware jacket

Anyway let's start the project.

First get a good picture, and use Photoshop adjusts to proper size. Use it as a ruler to set up the initial body parts.

Break it and re-assembly it for a good posture.

Add on clothes.


Two versions of fringe of hairs. I made a coarse one first, but made a fine one later.

Bird-view picture shows how the four arms hold together, it took me plenty of time to position them correctly.  Not only them have to touch each other, it also has to consider the reasonable length, angle of arms, palms, and fingers.
